Once upon a swipe, in the magical realm of Tinder, a charming prince named Josh and a dazzling princess named Alexa found their way to each other. Their first rendezvous led them to a nerdy barcade called 'Battle and Brew' in 2016, where sparks flew amidst the laughter and excitement of videogame adventures. At that time, Alexa was not only conquering the world of academia in graduate school but also juggling four jobs – a feat that eventually led her to pass out from sheer exhaustion on their very first date. Concerned and caring, Josh, our knight in shining armor, refused to leave her side for the next three days, ensuring her safety and well-being. It was during this unexpected, sleep-deprived adventure that Alexa found herself falling head over heels for her compassionate prince. However, Josh's time in Atlanta was fleeting and the bittersweet pull of responsibilities forced the couple apart. Almost one year later, fate intervened at a sci-fi convention where they met up and sparks ignited once again. Yet, it still took a little longer for Josh to realize the magic unfolding before him. It wasn't until November 2017, with a gentle smack upside the head from both his mother and friends, that Josh finally realized the enchanting love that had been blossoming. The couple embarked on a year of a long-distance dance, bridging the miles until they could be together. In November 2018, the stars aligned as they moved in together in the coastal beauty of Destin, Florida. Their journey continued in 2021 and 2022, when they moved to the vibrant city of Atlanta and purchased their first home together, solidifying their commitment to a lifetime of shared dreams and adventures. And so, in the pages of their love story, Josh and Alexa's journey continues, written in the sands of Destin, the bustling streets of Atlanta, and the walls of their first home. Each chapter echoes with the laughter, love, and unwavering support that define their extraordinary tale. The rest, as they say, is history – a history filled with love, growth, and a happily ever after.

We suggest everyone stay at a hotel around the Cartersville area. The venue is in Rockmart, Georgia, which is only 20 mins away from Cartersville. Check the "Travel" page for a list of suggested hotels.

No. Unfortunately, we have not set up transportation to and from the hotels nearby to the wedding venue, so please prepare transportation (such as rental car, taxi, or Uber/Lyft) ahead of time. ⚠︎Please DO NOT DRIVE if you think you will be drinking at the wedding reception!

Most likely, but PLEASE reach out and ask the bride &amp; groom beforehand! Food and drinks cost a lot of money, so more people means a higher cost.

The dress code is semi-formal.

YES! We will be hiring a professional photographer and videographer, so we will kindly request that all guests put away their cameras and phones and just enjoy the day with us.

Yes! There is a very large parking lot, and the venue will be providing golf cart shuttles between the ceremony and reception areas.
